The Rams started the game on fire against FW Polytechnic in the 49-14 win opening week.
The scoring started in the 1st quarter with a fumble recovery by #9 Jackson Hicks for a touchdown. The extra point (xp) was good. The Rams would later score with a 26 yard TD run by #1 Kayden Montalvo. The XP was good. The Rams would score again on defense with an INT by #4 Cassius Johnson. XP was good.
The Rams didn't slow down in the 2nd quarter opening with a TD pass from #10 Owen Gadd to #16 Kadin Kaspar. XP was good. The Rams continued the scoring with a TD run from #3 P.R. Mendez. #15 Trent Yowell would also recover a fumble in the quarter. Gadd added his 2nd TD pass to #2 Preztynn Harrison to make it 42-0. XP was good. After #13 Ethan Anthony recovered a kickoff, the Rams would cap off the scoring with a goal line TD run from #40 Trayvon Berkins to make it 49-0 after the XP at half.
The 3rd quarter ended with no scoring as both teams traded defensive stands.
The 4th quarter featured a running clock, but the Parrots were able to add 2 late TDs to make the final score 49-14.
The Rams featured 7 different players scoring a TD.
Aldo Tejada went a perfect 7 for 7 on extra point attempts.
The Rams host Iowa Park next Friday in their home opener at Ram Stadium for First Responders Night.
