The Lady Ram Volleyball team traveled to Abilene to face some tough competition in the Bev Ball Classic.

They started their day with a strong 2-set win over Dallas Hillcrest, winning the first set 25-21 and following it with a 25-23 second set win.

The Lady Rams faced 5A El Paso High School in their next match. They were unable to come away with the victory.

In their final match of the day, the Lady Rams fell to 6A Midland High School.

They competed in the Silver Bracket on Saturday.

The Lady Rams took the first match 2-1 over Brownwood (22-25, 25-18, 25-18).

In their second match, Mineral Wells defeated Sweetwater in 2 sets.

To move to the championship game, the Lady Rams took down Ingram Moore in 3 sets (22-25, 25-22, 25-22).

Mineral Wells lost the championship game in 2 sets to Abilene High School.

The Lady Rams finished the tournament with 4 wins and a 2nd place finish in the Silver Bracket.

Varsity Hosts Benbrook High School at Ram Gymnasium immediately following the JV/9th grade games.
