Mineral Wells Varsity gets their first district win on the road 41-36 over the Yellowjackets.

This was their first district road win in 2 years. They also snapped a 13 game losing streak and have earned a potential playoff push.

The Rams were led in scoring by Charlie Ramsay and Preztynn Harrison with 9 each.

The team trailed by 8 in the half and went on a 13-3 scoring run in the 3rd to take the lead.  Ryan Hunt led the charge in the 3rd quarter to give the team the lift they needed to takeover the game.

The Rams are now 1-2 in district and 6-23 overall.

We return to action Friday Night at MWHS Gymnasium with the first games starting at 4:30 PM, JV at 5:45 and Varsity at 7:00 PM.
