The power running attack from Quinlan Ford was enough to keep the Rams at bay in a 21-35 game.
The Rams had a strong rushing attack with another 100 yard performance from Jordan Johnson. The Rams were able to record a touchdown passing, rushing, and on special teams on the night.
The first quarter was highlighted with a big 53 yard touchdown run from Jordan Johnson on the first drive of the game. The two teams would then trade several defensive stops to end the quarter in a 7-0 Ram lead.
Quinlan Ford would come roaring back in the 2nd quarter sparked by a big punt block that ended in a touchdown, followed by 2 more scores on the ground. The Rams refused to let the Panthers keep momentum, ending the quarter with a 27 yard pass from Javon Johnson to Jaidun Fisher. The Panthers took a 21-14 lead into half.
Quinlan Ford would add their final 2 touchdowns on the ground in the 3rd quarter. The Rams's special teams would attempt to make a comeback for the 2nd straight week after an exciting 77 yard kick-off return from Jackson Hicks for a touchdown. The quarter would end 35-21 in favor of the Panthers.
In the final quarter, both teams would highlight strong defenses in a scoreless quarter.
