The Rams rebounded from last week with a big dramatic win over the Eastern Hills Highlanders 36-33 in Overtime.

Timely scores late and huge defensive stops helped the Rams complete the big comeback victory.

Defense for both teams were stout in the 1st quarter, with the 2nd quarter starting at a 0-0 tie. However, in the 2nd quarter, the Rams added numbers to the scoreboard first with a 6 yard TD run from Jackson Hicks (#9). The extra point was good, giving the Rams a 7-0 lead. The Highlanders would quickly respond with a big run, but missed the extra point. The Rams would fight back late in the half with a 29 yard passing TD as time expired from Javon Johnson (#2) to Jaidun Fisher (#8). The Rams would go in at the half up 14-6.

Eastern Hills offense took control of the game in the 3rd quarter highlighted with 2 big TD runs and a TD pass. The 3rd quarter would end with Eastern Hills up 33-17.

The Rams would not bow to the pressure in the 4th quarter. The defense would stiffen holding Eastern Hills scoreless in the quarter. The Ram offense did their part completing a long pass to Fisher again from Johnson for a 65 yard TD. Jaxon Brown #25 would convert a crucial 2 point conversion to pull the Rams within 1 score, trailing 33-25. After another big defensive stop, the Rams would drive down the field with less than 2 minutes remaining and completed another passing TD from Johnson to Fisher to bring the score to 33-31. Javon Johnson would complete the comeback with a 2 pt conversion completion to Jordan Johnson (#23) to push the game into overtime 33-33.

In overtime, the Ram defense shutdown the Eastern Hills drive on 4 plays and gave the offense a chance to respond and win the game. The Highlander defense would not budge, stopping the Rams and forcing a field goal attempt to win it. Rueben Velasquez (#20) would come through in clutch fashion to seal the win 36-33.
