Mineral Wells enters the season hopeful to maintain momentum, coming off a 7-4 record in 2024 and breaking into the playoffs for the first time in several seasons.

The Rams return several District 3-4A standouts from last season including co-Defensive Lineman of the Year, Trent Yowell.

Also on the defensive side of the ball, the Rams return a pair of 1st team all-district defensive backs in Jaidun Fisher and Jackson Hicks, along with 2nd Team All-District Garrison Facteau (LB). Other returners on defense are Gage Lawhorn (DB) and Prestyn Ramirez (LB).

On offense, the Rams return 3 offensive lineman, featuring senior, Evan Myrick (2nd team All-District), along with juniors Javawn McKinney and Josiah Zapata (both Honorable Mention All-District). QB transfer Brogan Sims will lead the Rams at QB. The Rams will feature a stable of speedy RBs, including Jaidun Fisher. Trent Yowell and Jaxon Cox will play both sides of the ball and will be featured at the TE positions. At WR, the Rams are replacing 2 starting seniors with Gage Lawhorn (sr) and Cannon Ramsay (sr).
